Automatic Lug Capping Machine-SVLC 60/100/150/200 is used for locking and sealing of lug or twist-off caps on glass jars for jam, sauce, pickle, chutney bottles, containers, etc. The machine comes in single or multiple capping heads. The bottle capping machine is very easy to operate, quick changeover for different-sized bottles/jars. A special capping head is designed with proper torque according to the cap samples to avoid damaging the cap ribs. Vibratory or continuous cap feeder feeds the cap to the cap delivery chute, which is picked by jars one by one very smoothly without damaging or scratching the caps.

The star wheel moves the jar with a loosely placed cap towards the capping head. The cap is preset with the required torque. Tighten the cap to the desired level and avoid over-tightening. The perfectly capped bottle moves out on the conveyor for further operation like sterilizing or labeling, cartooning or packaging. Steam or gas flushing can be provided before capping on request.
